Offering 50 years of experience, Dr. Long graduated in the United Kingdom in 1965 with a general medical degree from Bristol University. He obtained his degree in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of London in 1967. He came to Northern Manitoba in 1970 to practice Opthalmology in The Pas and Northern Communities.  He came to Winnipeg in 1974 to practice general Ophthalmology. This has grown over the years to a large Opthalmic Clinic offering a variety of services including general eye exams, refractions, contact lens fittings and specialized testing for a variety of conditions. Recently aesthetic and cosmetic procedures and treatments have been incorporated into the practice. The clinic offers a broad range of modern and up to the minute technology including the HRT and OCT for glaucoma, retinal and macular disease as well as an Optomap for general diagnosis. Dr. Long is now pleased to offer the Lipiview Tear Flow Scan and Lipiflow Thermal Pulsation treatments.
